On the move...

It's obviously been a while since my last entry, but it's just been a rough couple months. 2009 has not started off well. I lost my job the middle of February and have decided to make a big change in my life. The job market in Las Vegas is horrible and I've been unable to find a job that would pay enough to let me stay, so I will be relocating to Utah. My beautiful cousin and her husband rescued me by offering me a job and place to live. I don't know where I'd be without them! Words can't say how grateful I am they gave me this opportunity. So, after 11 years in Las Vegas, I will be starting a new life in Utah. I obviously have mixed feelings about the big move, but feel it's the right thing to do so I can get my feet back on the ground.

Christmas

Unfortunately I'm home alone in Vegas this year, but was able to spend Thanksgiving with my family, and I've been alone before, so I'm sure I'll survive. Vegas had the most snow they've seen in 30 years all in a matter of 3 days this week, so it's actually been kind of festive. Although I did move here to get away from the snow and cold! At least it didn't last long and we're back to sunshine and dry roads!

We managed to get the whole family together this year at Thanksgiving for a family photo. Thought they turned out well (aside from my ugly double chin). Yes, that makes 12 nieces & nephews (with one on the way), not a one of which is mine! I love them all dearly and can't wait until we can do it again!
